Great onsen experience and clean tatami room. Wi-fi was spotty at times.

missingWrote a review on Nov 14marble bathcozy roomcramped space
Marble-style public bath and a clean, cozy traditional room with a nice aroma oil diffuser create a relaxing atmosphere. Additional perks like plush coats for chilly days and a unique yukata service add a fun touch to the overall experience.
Beds are rolled out at night leaving very little space to move around, making the rooms feel cramped during the day. Also, the thin mattresses don't offer much comfort and may leave you yearning for more support after a long day of exploration.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Oyado Koto No Yume. The warm welcome from the staff, combined with unique touches like the choice of yukata to wear and delicious Japanese breakfast options, made my experience exceptional. The location was perfect, just a short stroll from both the train station and the beautiful old town.
Nothing to complain about.

The aesthetics and welcoming atmosphere stood out, complemented by exceptional service. The private onsen experience was memorable, but the room left much to be desired—it was basic, cramped, and not well-maintained. Unfortunately, the dining experience didn't live up to expectations. both breakfast options were disappointing. Overall, the experience could have been significantly improved with a cleaner environment and more attention to guest comfort.

We really enjoyed our stay with delightful Japanese breakfasts and comfy, spacious rooms. The lovely public bath was just what we needed to unwind after a long day, and we also enjoyed some relaxing time in the private garden. Just a heads up, the air conditioning was a bit noisy, but it didn't ruin our experience at all! 😊

Had a great time staying at this cozy ryokan with friends! We explored the nearby morning market and visited the stunning Takayama Jinya, both walking distance from our place. The breakfast options were delicious, and the service was top-notch. Don't forget to try out the free yukata during your stay!
The air conditioning in our room was pretty loud, which made it hard to sleep at times.
